2000 Camaro SS

The 2000 Camaro has the spirit and performance of a ’60s muscle car in a contemporary package, especially when it comes to the high-performance “SS” trim. When you compare the Camaro to other cars it seems like a large car, and, if its available 350-cubic inch V8 engine is a touch smaller than the 427s and 454s of the past, it is not exactly anemic. If the regular Z28’s 305 horsepower and 335 lb-ft of torque aren’t enough, the SS uses ram-air induction and other modifications to make 320 hp and 345 lb-ft.

302 Camaro

The Camaro 302 is a beautiful camaro that many enthusiasts enjoy. The engine placed into the 2000 Camaro 302, features a specially modified LS6 cylinder heads, custom-built pistons and lightweight rods.

SLP Engineering, which worked with Chevrolet and Pontiace to build the Camaro SS and Firebird Firehawk, among other high-performance vehicles, were able to contribute a lightweight flywheel, aluminum differential cooler, and a heavy-duty axle assembly. The 302 also features a carbon fiber driveshaft.

1995 Camaro

When this camaro was first debuted in 1993, most people thought some of its individual designs were outrageous, especially the overstated side-view mirrors, the maximized windshield wipers and the deep well in the trunk. Many people didn’t care for the original multicolored graphics with pale gray on slate gray plastic instrument panels. Two years down the road, though, with the full line of arch-competitor Ford Mustang coupes and convertibles having been introduced, the Camaro looks a great deal better than it did initially.
